Zombie Rush
Zombie Rush is a top-down 3D zombie shooter developed for JABSZ Gaming Studios LLP and published on the Google Play Store. In this fast-paced mobile game, players battle against endless hordes of zombies in both wave-based and survival game modes.
As the Lead Game Developer and Associate Game Designer of this game, I was responsible for core gameplay mechanics, AI systems, player controls, and monetization features. Key contributions included:
Zombie AI System: Designed and implemented two wave management systems—Normal (predefined escalating waves) and Endless (dynamically scaling difficulty based on player progress).
Player Movement System: Developed smooth joystick-based navigation optimized for mobile gameplay.
Aim Assist System: Built an auto-aim feature to enhance targeting fluidity by locking onto the nearest enemy in range.
Minimap System: Created a real-time minimap showing player position, enemy locations, and surrounding environment.
Monetization: Integrated Unity Ads for rewarded video ads (unlocking grenades, molotovs, bandages, etc.), and implemented IAP for no-ads packs and coin bundles.
This project allowed me to combine technical execution with game design thinking, delivering a polished and engaging mobile gaming experience for a studio release.
